A small shop for people who read the spec sheet.
LYNN STORE started in a Maryland workshop in 2019, with a box of screwdrivers and a stubborn question: why does most consumer hardware feel like it was designed for the box rather than the owner?
Six years later the answer has not changed, but the collection has. We sell fifteen products across five categories — each one tested, used, and in most cases repaired by us before it earned a listing.
How we choose
Three tests, before anything is listed.

We open it. If the internals are glued, potted, or impossible to service, it goes back.

Thirty days of real use on a real desk, in a real bag, on real flights.

The question
Would we buy it with our own money at this price? If the answer is not an immediate yes, we pass.
Curated, not catalogued
We carry a deliberately short list. If a category already has a product we would recommend, we do not add a second one to fill space.
Tested before it ships
Every item is used for at least three weeks before it is listed — carried, dropped, charged and cleaned — so the specs we publish are the ones that matter.
Built to be kept
Repairable designs, standard fasteners, and a 24-month warranty on everything. Fewer replacements means less waste, and a better cost per year.
